Visit Pittsburgh

If you have the chance to travel to Pittsburgh, PA, take it and use our Pittsburgh travel guide to help you see the best of what the city has to offer. We spent 48 hours in the city at the start of this week and I fell head over heels in love with it. I know we moved to Charleston less than a year ago but I’m tempted to pack everything up and move again. Pittsburgh is calling my name so hard right now.

Our intention when booking the trip was to see the dog-friendly side of the city with our pups in tow but despite it being the first day of spring, the weather decided to be extremely uncooperative. There were icy roads and heavy snow which made the outdoor conditions unsuitable for our little boys so they stayed at the hotel instead. Lucky for us, Drury Plaza Hotel is extremely welcoming to furry friends! While they stayed in the room we decided to pack as much as we could into our 48 hours in Pittsburgh. There was no way to see everything on our list but we did accomplish a lot. If you are only in the city for a weekend, our travel guide is here to help you identify the top must-see attractions (and a few places to scope out the authentic flavor of the area).
